Panorama seat counts and alerts

Learn why Panorama seat counts can differ and how to check that everyone in your group can travel.
How Panorama finds flights
Panorama helps you find award flights across many dates and destinations using results saved from earlier searches. Prices and seats can change after those results are saved.
Why the seat count may be different
Some results show only one seat because the full seat count is unavailable. A flight listed with one seat will not match a Panorama alert for two or more travelers, even if more seats may be available. Use real-time search to check availability for everyone traveling.
For example: you need two seats
Imagine you need two Business Class seats from New York to London. An earlier search for one person saved the flight with one seat. Your Panorama alert for two people will skip that result, even if two seats could actually be booked. Run a real-time search for two travelers to check the current availability.
How to check seats for your group
- Run a real-time search with all adults and children included. Use the same route, dates, cabin, and loyalty program as the flight you want to check.
- If you want ongoing updates for your group, choose a real-time alert and enter the full passenger count.
- Before transferring points or booking, confirm the flight, seats, and final price with the loyalty program.
Real-time search checks availability for your selected travelers. It does not hold seats or guarantee a booking.
