Whether you're planning a complex international trip, tracking a specific route, or just exploring your options, this tool gives you up-to-the-minute data to make booking your award travel effortless.

Follow this step-by-step tutorial to unlock the full potential of AwardTool's Real-Time Flight Search.

1. Sign Up & Log In

To unlock the full capabilities of our real-time search, you'll need a free account.

• Create an Account: Simply sign up using your email address.
• Passwordless Login: When you opt to log in using your email, we will send a secure "magic link" directly to your inbox for instant, easy access—no password required.

2. Executing a Search

From the main search dashboard, input your route and dates. Our system will automatically indicate the number of airports or date ranges you can select based on your account tier:

• Free Users: Enjoy complimentary roundtrip searches, date ranges up to 4 days, and the ability to search up to 3 airport pairs at once.
• Pro Users: Toggle the 36-entry search PRO switch to run massive, complex queries in seconds. You can conduct searches with up to 36 entries at once (where one entry = one origin, one arrival, one way, and one day). For example, a Pro user can explore a single airline route for up to 36 consecutive days in a single click! Note: You can select up to 4 departure or arrival airports in a single search box to easily cross-check regional availability.

3. Sorting, Filtering, and Adjusting Your View

Once your results load, use our comprehensive tools to zero in on the perfect flight and display the data exactly how you want to see it.

• Customizable Views: Users can adjust different view types to match their preference. Whether you prefer a detailed list breakdown of flights or a broader overview, you can easily toggle the layout to suit your searching style.

• Quick Filters: Use the top bar to adjust Dates, Cabins, required Cards, maximum Stops, and more.

4. Viewing Flight Details & Booking

Once you have found the ideal award flight, AwardTool makes the booking process seamless:

• Transfer Guidance: We provide step-by-step information on how to transfer your credit card points to the required airline program, including direct links to the bank's transfer portal.
• Direct Booking Links: For most airline programs, we supply direct links straight to the respective airline's website so you can secure your flight immediately while availability lasts.

5. Set Your Search Preferences (Global Settings)

Now that you know how to search and filter, you can save time on future queries by configuring your global Search Preferences. By setting these up, AwardTool will automatically apply your favorite filters to every search you perform across all our products.

• Navigate to the Search Preferences tab.
• Loyalty Programs: Select the specific Bank Programs (to match the credit card points you own) and Airline Programs you prefer.
• Flight Preferences: Pre-select your preferred Cabins (e.g., Business or First Class), Maximum Stops, and a Maximum Tax amount you are willing to pay.
