Window reaches is Oct 16, 2026 plus the published window: the latest departure date the program's published rule would have open on that day. — means no published window is listed or no routes were observed.

How these numbers are measured

AwardTool scans departures from Oct 16, 2026 up to 365 days ahead on the routes it tracks for each program. A departure counts as open when AwardTool observed at least one award seat on it, in any cabin, in the last 30 days. The furthest open departure is the latest such date for the program, across all its tracked routes.

Programs release seats at different times, often later for partner airlines and premium cabins, and seats that were released may already be booked. A window shorter than the published one is therefore common and doesn't prove the program releases seats later. Windows longer than 365 days can't be observed in full.

Questions about award release dates

Which program showed award space furthest ahead?

Emirates Skywards and Etihad Guest (Oct 12, 2027, 361 days out), followed by Avianca LifeMiles (Oct 11, 2027, 360 days out), among departures AwardTool scanned up to 365 days ahead.

Do observed release dates match the published booking windows?

For 16 of 18 programs with a published window, the furthest open departure AwardTool observed was within 14 days of the window's end, before or after it. Etihad Guest (31 days past its window) showed space further out than the published window. A shorter observed window can mean the program hadn't released seats on the routes AwardTool tracks, or that those seats were already booked.

How this page is built

These figures come from AwardTool's cached award searches across 29 loyalty programs. A value counts only when AwardTool observed it in the last 30 days, for departures within 365 days of the data date. Each price is the lowest one-way award seen per passenger, in the program's points or miles, with taxes and fees in USD. A missing value means AwardTool hasn't seen that award recently, not that none exists. The date-by-date calendar is in the app: a limited window on the free plan and 365 days with Pro.
