GOL Smiles award alerts

What a GOL Smiles award alert watches

AwardTool re-checks the award space it covers and emails you when seats open. These figures summarize its cached searches from the last 30 days.

• An alert's booking-program filter watches award space you can book with GOL Smiles; pick one or more programs per alert.
• It watches by route and booking program, not by the airline that operates the flight. AwardTool identifies airlines by the marketing carrier that sells the flight.
• The one airline filter excludes a marketing carrier you don't want; there is no operating-carrier filter.

How to set up a GOL Smiles award alert

The button above opens the alert form in the app with these choices filled in; you can change any of them before saving. Creating an alert needs a free AwardTool account.

1. Pick the route to watch — one of the major GOL Smiles routes below, or your own origin and destination.
2. Keep GOL Smiles as the booking program, or add others to compare.
3. Choose your cabins and any limits: maximum points, maximum taxes, stops, and the other filters below.
4. Save the alert and AwardTool emails you when matching award space appears.

Filters you can set on an alert

An award alert supports these filters. Points and taxes are per passenger, one way, in the booking program's own currency and in US dollars.

• Cabins — economy, premium economy, business or first.
• Booking programs — the loyalty programs that may price the award.
• Maximum points — skip awards priced above your ceiling.
• Maximum taxes and fees.
• Stops — nonstop only, or up to a number of stops.
• Mixed-cabin itineraries — include or exclude awards flown partly in a lower cabin.
• Flight number.
• Departure and arrival time windows.
• Maximum trip duration.
• Co-branded card (cardmember) award pricing.
• Airlines to exclude — hide a marketing carrier you don't want.
• Selected airports only, when you pick specific airports to watch.

"Airlines to exclude" is the one airline filter: it removes a marketing carrier from the results. There is no filter that keeps only one operating airline.
